Town’s reserves ended their Totesport.com Football Combination East Division home campaign with a 0-0 draw against Watford at Portman Road. The Blues had most of the first half chances with the Hornets doing better after the break, before Town finished the game strongly but without being able to find the net.

Town central defender Damien Delaney has been added to the Republic of Ireland squad ahead of their friendly against Uruguay in Dublin on Tuesday. Delaney will hope to play a part from the bench while Blues loanee Darren O’Dea is in the starting line-up (Sky Sports Two/HD2 7.30pm).

Loan midfielder Jimmy Bullard says he’s loving life at Town and hasn’t ruled out returning permanently next season when he expects Portman Road to be “a good place to be”. The 32-year-old, who has two years remaining on his £45,000-a-week Hull City contract, netted his fourth goal for the Blues in Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Scunthorpe.
